the happening stories

RGS Peer Support Sharing is so fun! (:

Mimi, Tracy, Vaishnavi and I went down to RGS yesterday for Peer Support Sharing 2008! Tracy's mum came to fetch us there. We saw the programme outline and boy, it looks boring and we already made the conclusion that our school's conference is better. The school is really big and confusing. HAHA.

Well, we can say we were quite early, but some schools were there already. Then i saw this familiar face with 3 other guys wearing the vs uniform - Bih Yau. I was so shocked to see him there. I wasn't expecting vs to be there. Even if vs were to be there, I wasnt expecting Bih Yau. Hoho. We went to register and we were splitted into different groups. My group is group 5, SYDNEY. I was kinda scared and told Tracy to hold my hand. LOL. Vaish is in the same group as Bih Yau. Wahahahahaha.

Carly and Grace were already there. Same as Long Chuan, Priscilla and Daniel. I went to sit near to Daniel but not so near. Haha. Tense feeling. So I kept smiling to Carly and Grace. Soon, more people came like Elena, Jia Ai, Jun Rong and Zhi Xian. Zhi Xian is from track and field (: I know someone that he knows too. Long Chuan led us to introduce ourselves and games like Katong Laksa and the confusing tap-hand game.

Soon, Sydney was told to join group 6 - Vaish's group. We played double whacko and we cannot pair up with the ones that is in the same school as us. Aww ): But it's okay, I went to pair up with Bih Yau. HAHAHAHA. Bih Yau is so useful and told him to "protect me". I dont wanna get whacked and he always mentioned the same person's name. Haha. Then we had ice breakers with everyone like the money game where we all cheated. Lol. And the star sign-first letter of your name-last number of your handphone number game :D Then we did the 'instruction game' with our groups and I had to start by doing a star jump and out "We're all in this together!" =.= I got to know even more people like Sushi, Jasmin (nice name), Amirah etc etc.

We settled down for our first sharing session with RGS's councellor Ms Sciberras about being a mentor and stuffs and halfway through, she told me to act with Elena about active listening. Frankly speaking, I have no idea what is active listening. So you mean you listen attentively and don't say anything? HAHA. Ms Sciberras told me that she is going to act about non active listening and I hurry swap with her (: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I was so tense and uptight lah! HAHA. Poor Elena, I had to dao her. Haha. And my voice was like squeaking >< story =".=">what I like ((: and he added something more (:

TRYBE came and gave each team 10 pictures, to arrange them in order and made up a story. Eugene and Zhi Xian made up the story. But mainly it's Eugene who made up the story. Haha. Quoted from Elena's blog, and since Elena likes purple,

"one fine day, it was the olympic in soul 1988. Derek went to run for olympics and got first. then later his prize was a five-time leg hair removal cos they thought that giving a medal was far too boring. so then coincidentally, on the next olympics 1992, all the runners tore their hemstring thus unable to participate -.- then it was only Derek, but unfortuantely, the five-time leg hair removal made his heel and ankle very painful, so he could not run properly. So Jim - his father, came to support him and run with him till the end of the race and he got FIRST. = peer mentoring -.- okay i know its super lame. the pictures areon the photo the poster thingo."

Then other groups came to present and I like Mimi's group (: Haha. Derek is runner. Another guy named Nicholas (who is the TRYBE person) who stalks Derek. Then his best friend Jim helps Nicholas to stalk Derek and is hiding when Derek won the race. Then Jim and Derek hugged each other so tightly that the ankle/heel broke. Something like that. It was hilarious! Gosh. Junrong said thats how his school's PSL are like. >.> HAHAHAHA.

But actually the real story isnt that spastic or funny.

And thanks to my logic,
Thomas the sailor (looks) + Thomas my brother (behaviour) = All the Thomas' I know = Junrong :D

Then its break and then its the presentation by CGSS and VS. I didnt know Jia Ai's the head for her PSB lah.. Then CGSS psb sound great :) they have like tutoring sessions lah. And VS's head is Bih Yau =.= but hey, their ppt is very professional :) Actually I wasnt paying much attention to VS's one.. Kinda tired already. But it's okay. Just a click away and Bih Yau and Junrong will tell me more (: HAHA. And both school's mascot is the phoenix. So cool. Should suggest that the PB have a mascot too.

Then we had to leave early ): Missed out all the songs and jumping ): REGRETTED SO MUCH DD: and yeah, we didnt regret skipping tkgs open house 08. HOW MUCH WE LOVE RGS PSS (:
Should have been longer (: And hey, that doesnt mean I dont miss tkgs slc okay! I also miss it especially it is us who planned it.

Tracy's mum fetched us to the MRT. Vaish left earlier. So Mimi and I were left by ourselves to go to our destination and we kept talking about the PSS (: I alighted at Kovan and ML's parents came to fetch us to Jovina's house. Haha. Her room changed a bit. We went to try out the water bombs and Im really scared it will burst. HAHA.

Then we went down to help Hannah Montana to light her instant grill and we barbecued many things and ate many things and I BET ALL THE PRAWNS WERE EATEN BY US :P I helped so many people to peel prawns like Audrey, Hannah, Valerie and Yoon!

I ALMOST LOST MY FIRST KISS! Thanks to Audrey. Hey, it is meant for someone else lah!

Then ML, Yoon and I went up to Jovina's room to chat while the rest were downstairs playing water bombs. Haha. Then we pranked called people. HAHAHA. And soon the water people bathed/changed and we were down to eat the nice cheesecake which OON didnt eat ):

Then went home and add all the Sydney-ians on msn and saved their numbers and msned with Marcus Chong. Lalalalalalala.
